The International Master’s Program in Soil and Water Engineering course is designed to provide a dedicated field in studying the movements of water in the soil. Basically, the course is divided into two major categories while also offering scope for future learning. They provide critical learning environments for students to understand the relationship between the movements of water in the soil, effects of water in the growth and quality of the crops and also the occurrence of water disasters under various conditions.
Both our engineering colleges, the Department of Civil Engineering and the Department of Soil and Water Conservation are jointly accumulated in this program. Faculties from both the departments who are highly experienced and professionally outstanding cater to this program. In addition, the two departments also have complete experimental laboratories, such as a common soil engineering laboratory, water resource laboratory, earth engineering laboratory, irrigation and drainage test field and earth engineering outdoor test field.
In this study, you will have the complete equipment required for all your internship and research purposes that help apply engineering principles in several agricultural practices whilst providing extent for the development and management of land and water resources. The main objective of this course is to cultivate international engineers with special characteristics of environmental conservation, economic development and social welfare.
